There are five primary areas of Business Decisions that I feel all enterprises need to be employing. I believe that most enterprises are so to speak stuck doing and not thinking of them and their organization in these structural components. I have identified the 5 primary areas of Business Decisions and formatted them in a ‘Scorecard’ design.

Below is a summary outline of these 5 primary areas of Business Decisions.

  2.  Which are the most & least profitable to your enterprise?

4. People & Operations:

  1.  Culture for you – what is it?
  2.  Have high performing people or just work groups?
  3.  Which behaviors are most successful in your business?
  4.  What are the hidden costs of turnover and unengaged employees?

5. Cash & Finance:

  1.  Cash flow needs to be at the forefront
  2.  Cash flow problems forces one to make tactical, not strategic decisions.

About Us

Tom brings a unique skill set to his clients. Not only a highly experienced CPA with big 4 experience, but a forward thinking CFO that will work alongside you to become your most relevant advisor. He has had his own CPA practice since 1992 in addition to his CFO Advising roles.

• CPA practice that consists in servicing small to medium size businesses (clients’ revenue range is $250k to $25 million). An outline of the roles, responsibilities and accomplishments are:
o Prepare, review and analyze financial statements and discuss with clients
o Analyze business operations, trends, revenues and costs and advise where to focus
o Assist in identifying lines of credit/funding sources to aid in cash management
o Primary role with clients is as an advisor, tax strategist and as external CFO

May 2015 – September 2019 (replaced by larger CPA firm)
RED ANTLER, LLC – Branding agency, Brooklyn, NY
CFO consultant 1 day a week and as outside CPA firm
• Commenced operations in 2008. Currently has ~ 120 employees and various freelance personnel. Replaced the prior controller (been there 5 years) with a new controller in July 2015. Assisted the organization financially about itself in terms of Financial Reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow rolling forecasts, KPIs analysis, tax planning for the partners, to prepare an annual review report for the bank, enhanced LOC from $300k to $2.5 million, and equity positions in clientele.

PIXAFY, INC., start-up ecommerce website developer/SaaS and web-hosting technology, New York, NY
Chief Financial Officer (part time)
• Commenced operations in October 2010, and currently has 75 employees. Attend to on-going strategy of the development of the entity, attend board of director meetings, executive management meetings, financial planning and analysis and accounting matters, investor relations, cash management, insurances, equipment leasing, bank relations that involve lines of credit, term loans and related funding sources.

IMEDICOR, INC. (formerly, VEMICS, INC. – VMCI - public symbol), start-up technology/medical portal company, Nanuet, NY (now Windermere, FL)
Chief Financial Officer (part time)
• CFO (part-time) for a start-up technology/medical portal company March 2004 – February 2014. Prepared year-end audit – 10-K, quarterly financial statements – 10-Q’s, raise financing from investment bankers and private investors. Oversaw all bookkeeping, payroll, vendor payments, and banking matters.
